Well it looks like things are good for now - I can hear the occasional thumping and scraping outside, but I've got things secured enough I should be able to hold out here as long as necessary. I managed to get word out to a few other people that things here are alright, and they're doing fine, no casualties that I could tell. There's still a couple of people I haven't heard from, but I've pretty much isolated myself here... feels weird to be fighting through this stuff alone.

Hopefully I'll still be here when morning comes...
