Now, I'll definitely agree with archmage when he says that Shirley Bassey is one of the true divas. Ever since I first heard her voice on the theme to Goldfinger I've been impressed by her vocal talents. She's also done another favorite song of mine - History Repeating w/ The Propellerheads. Simply a fantastic song. And lo and behold she's still working today, and looking damn good for a 70-year old woman.
The video below is her version of Pink's "Get This Party Started". It's quite simply the best cover song ever done. Period.
