I guess it's because Cassandra (aka Elvira) is getting pretty old (she's almost 60, if I remember right) so she figured it might be time to find a replacement.

Personally I'm only watching as long as my friend is on there. I could care less who wins :)

lol, yeah. I just noticed they're giving Extreme Makeover Home edition on TV Land. Too much reality, and now there's reruns.
