I'm a huge Terry Pratchett fan, he's easily one of my favorite authors. I was very sad to read today that he has early onset Alzheimer's. As someone who's seen people in their family suffer from Alzheimer's, it's really difficult to deal with, and while Pratchett's notably cheerful about the news (calling it an embuggerance, which I find funny in and of itself), he's got quite a legacy of works behind him and says this will not stop him from finishing what he has in progress at the moment, which is admirable.
