I can't decide which is worse: the headline typo, the fact that Will Smith is going to star in the movie, or the fact that Hollywood is now remaking a film that's been made at LEAST twice before, not counting quasi-related flicks like "Night of the Comet."
I'm not going to bother with it. The headline typo amused me, but the movie doesn't interest me in the slightest. Same with The Invasion, a movie that went through 4 directors before being released, and is pretty much a remade version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
Yeah, as much as I like Matheson's work, I don't have any illusions about this being anything more than another Hollywood effects-fest. Same for Invasion...which, amusingly enough, has ALSO been made twice before. Well, we wondered what they'd do when they ran out of things worth remaking...start remaking the remakes, it seems.
