Yeah, as much as I like Matheson's work, I don't have any illusions about this being anything more than another Hollywood effects-fest. Same for Invasion...which, amusingly enough, has ALSO been made twice before. Well, we wondered what they'd do when they ran out of things worth remaking...start remaking the remakes, it seems.
