(for those who don't watch Star Trek she played the original 'Number One' in The Cage, Nurse Chapel in the series, and Deanna Troi's mother Lwaxana Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation. She was also the voice of the ships computer in every single Star Trek series.

The Sun UK is reporting that Eddie Murphy has signed to play The Riddler with Shia LeBeauf signed on to play Robin in the next Batman movie.
Considering this is coming from a UK tabloid, I have absolutely no faith in this rumor. Christopher Nolan has already said they don't even have a script yet and even if they did, that's the LAST two actors they'd choose for those roles. Besides, this Batman franchise doesn't NEED a Robin.

If there was any more clue I needed to move out of Bremerton, the local transit agency here just voted to cut Sunday service COMPLETELY starting February 15th. Which means no more going to Seattle on Saturday nights because I won't be able to get home unless I can find someone to pick me up from the ferry, or move into a place in downtown Bremerton.
The amount of incompetence in the transit agency here is astounding. There's a lot of high-level management at Kitsap Transit making WAY more than they should be, and they're not taking ANY cuts at the management level at all.
Plus, they just voted to raise the fares another 50 cents (from $1.50 to $2 a trip). While I don't have a problem with that, it just means they're going to save cutting even more service until they run out of money for their budget again.

They eventually cut back service so it was running every hour, and then earlier this year cut out most of their late evening trips due to low ridership. It's bad enough that they don't run busses until 8am and they pretty much stop after 8pm, but these cuts are not happening where they should be - on the executive level.

Woke up to serious splitting pain in my sides (rib area). Not sure what is causing it (it was a dull pain before I went to bed), but even taking some aspirin hasn't made it go away.
Ugh. Today's going to be horrible if I don't get more sleep.

Normally I don't have much hassle writing C code, but this one particular function I'm trying to write is driving me ballistic.
Just might be I need a little break from things related to writing code. Taking some time to relax, maybe watch a movie or two.

Trying to wrap my brain around some C code I need to write for a programming class.
I gave up after several tries. I'll work on it again when I'm more awake. I don't know why I have such an issue with simple logic (although C can be a bit archaic sometimes).
